The Salvation Army will begin taking applications for Christmas assistance with food and toys for the holidays on Monday, Oct. 22. Families are asked to take identification for each person living in their household. Proof of income and expenses for the last 30 days will also be required. Applications can be made at the office, located at 201 South Anderson Street from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. For further information call 552-5570.
