City Pool

Since the new pool is set to open pretty soon, does anyone know if they will be offering any lifeguard classes? My son will be 16 in June and is interested in becoming a certified lifeguard.

Life guard
Last year our child was certified as a life guard after taking a course approved by the Red Cross and taught by a certified instructor here in Elwood. The City of Elwood is not qualified to offer a life guard class. I don't know if the course will be offered here in Elwood this year. I think the Anderson YMCA will offer it sometime. Expect to pay over $100.

Yep, I got him in the life guard class in Tipton, and it is $150.
