I would interested in what others think about this>>?
i agree with you on all accounts Andss...wish we could find someone like us lol...
Hi tammy,
I absolutely agree with your stand on abortion. It makes me sick to know this goes on. I hate it as much as you. The thing is though, each party has principles that we do not like and we have to vote according to what we think is priority, and the past election was the economy and health care in my opinion. I am also a big supporter in tort reform as are the republicans. I'm also against serving in the military as openly gay. I support don't ask don't tell. I think changing that is going to cause great harm to the military in the long run. But on the other hand, republicans are geared towards the rich not only getting richer but the rich getting richer from additional tax breaks. When you look at the whole picture the folks making over 250k pay a smaller % in taxes than we do. That is just not fair. The banks were given stimulus money that they have to pay back so what do they do, they charge us the consumer more in fees to assist them in paying it back. So, we not only helped them with the stimulus money, which by the way is our money, but then we have to pay more in fees to help them pay it back!! THATS INSANITY. So Obama caught on to that and is trying to punish them as we speak.
if someone went to a hospital and slaughtered say 100 premy babies, and did this several times, they would be labeled the premy baby killer..people would scream for justice, yet every day babies are being killed up to 26 weeks and sometimes longer for abortions...yet there have been children who have survived at 22 weeks premy...and maybe younger....if you say that is OK, you can do it and make the law to allow it, does that wash the blood off your hands?...women say it's my body, but really it is the baby's body that is being killed, I'm sure if they had a vote they would vote to live...
Andss i admit it, i enjoyed what obhama had to say, he's a smooth talker betty crocker, lol...i love it when he tells all what he thinks...but i do not agree with all of his policies, like abortion, and he did lie about bringing our troops home, but what politician doesn't..still the abortion thing is murder....so then that opens a whole can of worms, someone who allows serial killing to go on, ...if i say well he seems like a nice guy, don't they say that about most serial killers? charles manson to my knowledge did not actually kill anyone, not sure of that, but leaders through our history who killed or slaughtered millions were not liked by us, how is a baby acceptable?....it is to earlier for me to be spouting off..got to go lol...
Lol!!
Well actually I tossed and turned all night. The dark side seems to be a very powerful force indeed. I must have strength. lol
Well maybe a miracle will happen and both side can get together and actually discuss, debate and get something done.
Ok now admit, dude and tammy..you both slept better last night knowing that Obama is in charge??!
i was watching some of the video's with louder with crowder, and they were funny and interesting...i think they ought to tear down all the empty buildings in Detroit and make farm land out of it. this is what i would like to see, free prescriptions for all, but i don't think i should have to give up my freedom for it, heck i pay enough in taxes, to me both sides are wrong, the democrats want it all and to control you, the republicans don't want anything to change if it cuts into their pockets, where is the middle ground?
I'm afraid freedom never sleeps my friend. I will never give in to the dark side. lol
I read it prior to today, hence my earlier response computer dude. Why don't you join us on the "other" side. You'll sleep better at night I bet! Lol Just what the doctor ordered.
Here is the actual bill
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h3200/text
The figures on the vote are interesting as well. Only 22% of the users support the bill. 2166 in favor and 7580 opposed. WOW.
The person that created the video...I wonder what side of the isle he is on, firstly. Secondly and even more important, this person only talks about snipets and I'm guessing that the majority of their opinions are just that, opinions.
Always remember that a Republican or a person that just doesn't want to see a change is going to bash this bill.
My opinion is that all Americans should want all Americans to have health insurance. This should not be a privilege, it should be a right. Lastly, anyone connected to, or anyone who has a friend, family member, etc, connected to either the medical field or drug company does NOT want this bill to pass as they will be losing buku bucks in the process and this bill WILL create competition and decrease the profits of these companies. Greed on the part of these folks is whats caused the mess we have now.I'll promise you that the real bill in question does not say exactly what the video says and has been taken way out of context.
The Republicans HAVE NOT and will not want to make health care reform a real thing as their "constituents" will lose their $1m dollar paychecks as the rest of us shlumps continue to struggle with health care, or without it. The very FEW ideas they have do nothing to curb the greed of these companies and never will. They are criminals in my opinion. You notice that this Scott Brown from Mass only talked about defeating the heath care bill but said NOTHING about making the bill better or changing it to make it better. Doesn't that seem odd to anyone but me?? On the other hand I am happy that he was once on the cover of GQ and his daughter was once a contestant on American Idol and wants to be again?? People in Mass don't give a rats behind about the health care bill as that state has one of the best health care systems in the world. Thats a fact!! Why should they care about the rest of us??
Getting a copy and voting Nationally sounds great, but think of the costs involved in printing and mailing to every person or household, Wow! Best thing for us to do is do we really trust our Senator and Representative? Thats who we have hired to do this for us.I think each one of us need to do a better job of researching and knowing who we are voting for. Sometimes a stupid vote is worse than not voting at all, my opinion. I think the next couple of elections we will see some surprises. Just as in the Mass. election.I have met a few of our leaders over time and many i liked personally but I couldn't imagine how they ever got elected. To each his own. I am not sold either way but I do not like the closed door policy and the perks given to buy a vote. To those who say that's the way it's done or it's been done that way for years. To me it is still wrong and change is needed on both sides.
well i guess if the bill goes through we need to take our money out of the banks and take care of our parents at home..that is if all that is said on here is correct...what do you think Andss? if your out there lol.....it is sometimes hard to decide who is telling the truth and who is not..i think we should all get a copy of the bill through the mail and we should vote on it....

Well my take on the bills in question is this:
1) to start HR3200 was replaced by HR3962, but both bills pretty much say the same thing.
2) all bills to include the Senate version are not dealing with health care reform; they are actually a health insurance regulation and mandate.
3) the bills do not dictate charges but give physicians willing to charge no more then the payment schedules a preferred status; non-preferred physicians can still charge what they wish.
4) the cost of insurance is high because the cost of health care is spiralling out of control.
5) the bills are dealing with a symptom of the problem, high health insurance premiums, not the actual problem, the high cost of health care.
6) it can be expected that as long as the cost of health care increases the cost of insurance will increase no matter what bill is in place.
7) and finally if anyone thinks that these bills will actually make health insurance affordable compare it to the flood insurance rates many of us in Elwood have to pay in the Zone A5 areas which is mandatory for any mortgage. A5 cost is $1,000+ per year on homes valued at $50,000 or more; whereas, if you live in any other area it's only a couple of hundred.
Flood insurance rates which are dictated by the government is an indication to me of what health insurance premiums will be if the government takes that over. I'm afraid if federal government control of the health insurance industry goes through things will get worse and we'll all regret the change and wish for a return "to the good ole days" of pre-government control.
