fireworks?
Why aren't we doing something like this to help pay for Elwood to have our fireworks display? Seems this would be a perfect theme for us to do so! And by the way-where is Red Gold when Elwood needs them? You would think they might step up and donate some funds to give something back to the very city they reside and count on!
Yeah right
Red Gold's out for one thing and one thing only...RED GOLD. Why would they want to help the city of Elwood????
Re: fireworks
Kappa Delta Phi had origionally
planned to give a nice % of what they made to the
Fireworks. Then they were told they were cancelled.
Can't say for sure that they would still do that.
But, I betcha if there was another organization
or two to help raise the money KDP would be right there!!!
I am affraid it's too late now to raise the money needed.
money?
what about the money we already donated? I was told it was for this years fireworks.. just wondering
reply to Yeah right
Everyone is out for only one thing...themselves. Why should Red Gold be responsible for your entertainment? Why sould government be responsible for your entertainment? If YOU want fireworks don't ask someone to do it for you, do it yourself. Everybody always says " why don't they" why doesen't someone" "if only they". Well you are "they" and you are "someone". YOU do something beside complain. You set up a way to get the money for fireworks. Red Gold does do alot for the city and county. They pay their share of taxes and they pay wages to their workers. It's time for people to find ways to do things themselves not expect others to do it for you.
