Elwood Glass Festival Scholarship Pageant

Glass Festival Pageant Applications Available

The Miss Elwood Glass Festival Scholarship Pageant is scheduled for Saturday, August 9 at 7 p.m. at the Elwood High School Auditorium. Pageant entry deadline is Thursday, July 31 at 4 p.m. (An early entry deadline is available by 4 p.m. June 27, 2008.) Entrants must be not less than 17 years of age and not more than 22 as of September 1, 2008 and must be a resident of Madison or surrounding counties in the State of Indiana. Judging is based on interview, sportswear, evening gown and on stage question for finalists. Prizes include a $1,000 scholarship, $300 scholarship and a $200 scholarship. A Miss Congeniality will be chosen. Miss Elwood Glass also will compete in the Indiana State Festival Pageant to be held in November.
