The Den

Hello Fellow Denites,
For those of us who enjoy reading all of the news on the Den, we have seen some ways that have truly made all of us a family.

To be able to ask for advice with health problems is very important and our own mean Gene was helped with the responses he received from those on this site. We have had questions asked about things barely remembered and there were those who were able to share their very real memories with all of us.

We have been sent some remarkable stories that I have read and cried over for the sensitivity that was shown. We have been regaled with talk of happy days and trips. We have related to the stories about grandchildren and relived some of our own memories. None of these things would have occurred had it not been for this site since the persons who have shared in all of these things are scattered around this country and some have still not met each other in person. It is my opinion that this is exactly the way this Den site should be working. We have finally evolved into becoming a blended family.

Sometimes one may feel annoyance about the criticism and complaining, sometimes there may be a message that is of no interest to someone who is reading, sometimes the one liners and obviously personal messages are grumbled about and sometimes spirits are lifted by the messages being shared. Is this not the way it is in all kinds of families? I truly think that the growth this group has made has enriched us all to be more understanding and loving to others. It is very difficult for insincerity to be sent as we message to each other through this Den.

I wish for those who have something to celebrate the very best wishes I can send. For those who need caring thoughts, know that this family is prayed for each day even though we may not personally talk with each other.

I love the idea of having a shirt with the Den site represented.

I'm always telling my friends about this site and how wonderful it is to be able to keep abreast of all the things going on in your hometown. It's also a great venue where we can share ideas with former classmates and old/new friends. My friends too think it's wonderful to have a venue like this, and have voiced an opinion with some envy saying they would like the same thing.

I also like the idea that some of the proceeds from this project will go toward education. It's an excellent idea and I'm for it. Our future is with the children and if we can help just one to further their education, then it's worth it!

It makes no difference to me what the colors will be. I do think gray and white would go with almost anything, but it's not a problem what color is selected.

Just let me know when and how to order some.
