Hi Den Members,

  As another reminder, the birthday and anniversary calendar is going to be a new addition to the monthly Megaphone . . . so you can see at a glance who the celebrants will be for the month! 

  Don't worry, this will not be your only notice. I will continue to give the "Alerts" two days prior and will include the e-mail address at that time. If you haven't sent me your celebration days . . . please do so . . . and your name can be added also! If there is a spouse, include theirs also . . . I mean . . . let's face it . . . they deserve recognition too . . . if only for putting up with the Den Crazies!!!

The Conflict

The battle begins as night arrives,
The sun doesn't want daylight to end.
Still the night remains strong,
Then before long,
It looks like the night just may win.
The sun spits fire, red flares fly,
It doesn't want to give up the fight, say goodbye.
Then all at once the battle is over.
And yes, the night does succeed.
Though it is just for a while,
Then without fail,
Once again the sun will appear.
Promptly the battle commences,
And the outcome this time??? ...
No question, the sun will prevail.
