1) If a 15" pizza cost $13.99, how much should a 16" pizza cost?

                                                                                                               $15.92

   

2) On a one mile oval track, you have just averaged 30 mph for the first lap. How fast must you travel the second lap to average 60 mph for the two laps?

                Sadly, you were too slow on the first lap... it is impossible to do!

The Spider and the Fly

   A spider is located at one end of12 ft. x 12 ft. x 30 ft. room. Located in the center and 1 ft. down from the ceiling, it notices a fly at the other end of the room. The fly, frozen in fear of the spider, is in the center and 1 ft. from the floor at the other end of the room.
