It seems we often lose the talented influences in our lives far too soon. Such is the case with Richard Harney.

  Richard was in the graduating class of 1957. Our paths crossed on too few occasions while in school and far less since. But catching Richard's portion of our reunions and reading his book served as a reminder of why so many people looked forward to seeing him and listening to him. He will always be remembered for his sharp mind, his rapier wit, and eyes that sparkled as his mind raced ahead. 
     

  Richard, you'll be remembered with great admiration and fondness.
