Tribute to Someone Special
Dr. R. Joe Noble '56
The Panther Den Mail List was but a couple of weeks old when Joe Noble's name first appeared. As more subscribers joined, we found that many on the list knew Dr. Noble quite well.
Not only was he a classmate to current list members, several indicated he became personally involved in their lives as one of their physicians. Bob Sturtsman, Bob Wardwell, and others on the list indicated to me that Dr. Noble belonged on a page dedicated to "Someone Special."
I knew Joe primarily from times we shared as members of the Sugarfoot Six. But he offered help to me while we were both still in school at Elwood that I'll never forget. He's still offering help of immeasurable benefit to countless patients, classmates and friends.
